100 lawyers to fight for Minni

Staff Correspondent: Over 100 of lawyers are heading towards Barguna to stand for Aysha Siddika Minni in a much-talked Rifat Sharif murder case.

A 14-member team left Dhaka for Barguna district on Saturday morning. Besides, another 20-member group of lawyers will start their journey this evening. Over 100 of lawyers are going to move for her.

ZI Khan Panna, officer of Supreme Court senior lawyer and Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) confirmed the matter.  
 
Besides, 50 more lawyers from Barishal, Patuakhali and Jhalakathi are going to Barguna, ZI Khan Panna said.

The lawyers will meet Minni’s father first. Later, they will take step to provide legal support to Minni.

Earlier, social media users criticized the role of lawyers as no lawyers moved for the lady during remand hearing.
