11 Indian fishermen held for intrusion into Bangladesh

Members of Bangladesh Navy have arrested 11 Indian fishermen fishing illegally inside Bangladeshi maritime boundary.

Navy personnel spotted Hilsa fishing boat- 'FB Hira' in Fairway Boya area of the Bay of Bengal and arrested the Indian fishermen early Monday.  

They were handed over to Mongla police. Later, the fishermen were sent to Bagerhat court.

Bagerhat court police inspector Dilip Kumar Sarker confirmed the matter.
