152 more cops infected with corona in last 24 hrs

152 more police members have tested positive for pandemic coronavirus in last 24 hours, raising the total number of infected cops across the country to 4,053.

A press release issued by Police Headquarters revealed the information on Tuesday (May 26) noon.

Of the 4,053 infected cops, 1,394 are from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Besides, 3,745 policemen have been quarantined while 1,927 isolated. A total of 14 police members died of the deadly virus so far, the press release read.
