Eid-ul-Azha on June 7

The Zilhajj moon was sighted in the Bangladesh sky on Wednesday evening, so the Eid-ul-Azha, one of the largest religious festivals of Muslims, will be observed on June 7 in the country.
The National Moon Sighting Committee announced this on Wednesday (May 28) evening.
The committee sat for a meeting at 6:30 pm after Maghrib prayers at the conference room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram in the capital.
Earlier, the Islamic Foundation urged people to report any sighting of the Zilhajj moon by calling 02-223381725, 02-41050912, 02-41050916, or 02-41050917.
Saudi Arabia has announced that they will celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha on Friday, June 6, 2025.
In Bangladesh, the interim government has approved a 10-day holiday for the government employees from June 5 to June 14 for the forthcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
