Election will not be delayed even for a day: Press Secretary

The Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said the national election will not be delayed even for a day.

He said, “The upcoming national parliament election will be the most beautiful, peaceful and acceptable one in the history of Bangladesh.” 

He said this at a dialogue organized by the Bangladesh Secretariat Reporters Forum (BSRF) on Thursday (July 31).

The Press Secretary said, “You can be ensured that the election will be held on the day the chief adviser has announced. It will not be postponed even for a day. The election will be held in a beautiful, free and impartial environment.”

Chief Information Officer Md. Nizamul Kabir was present at the event.  The Press Secretary was present as the chief guest. The event was presided over by BSRF President Masudul Haque and moderated by General Secretary Ubaidullah Badal.
