259 more Bangladeshis leave Dhaka for Italy

A total of 259 more Bangladeshi citizens, who came to the country from Italy before the start of  coronavirus outbreak and later got stranded in the country, left Dhaka for Italy by a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

The special flight of the national flag carrier carrying the Bangladeshi nationals left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for Rome, Italy around 12:05pm on Wednesday (June 17).

Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, confirmed the matter to risingbd.

Earlier on Friday last, a chartered flight of the national flag carrier left Dhaka for Rome carrying 287 Bangladeshi nationals.
