2,627 institutes getting MPO

The government has taken an initiative of bringing 2,627 institutes under Monthly Payment Order (MPO) across the country.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to announce the list of the institutions at Gono Bhaban at 11:30am on Wednesday.

Education Minister Dipu Moni said this while exchanging views with reporters at the capital’s International Mother Language Institute on Tuesday.

According to the ministry source, 1,642 institutions got MPO status last time. Since, the MPO promotion remains halt.

From now, the promotion will be continued every year.
