27 more new coronavirus patients in Chuadanga

27 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Chuadanga, taking the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 78.

Civil Surgeon Dr ASAM MarufHasan confirmed the development on Saturday.

They sent samples of 681 people to Jashore University of Science and Technology, Kushtia and IEDCR in Dhaka for test. Of which, results of 557 people have come and found 27of them to be positive, he said.

15 coronavirus-infected people are being treated in isolation at Chuadangasadar hospital and others are being treated in isolation at their homes, he also said.

One person has died so far in the district.
