Three African footballers with BFF officials
Staff Correspondent: Bangladesh Football Federation authorities have started necessary processes to give Bangladeshi citizenships to three African footballers.
The three footballers are being offered citizenships in a bid to develop the country`s football skills.
The three African footballers are- Ismail Bangoura, Samad Yussif and Kingsley Chigozi.
Bangladesh Football Federation authorities have met with the three African footballers to know their decisions about accepting Bangladeshi citizenship in order to make them available for the national team.
During the meeting with the BFF authorities the trio expressed their desire to play on behalf of the Bangladesh after the receiving the citizenship.
BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag and Bangladesh Football Team Manager, Amirul Islam Babu were present during the meeting on the day.
Responding some criticism over providing citizenship, Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Salahuddin, however, said, "It is nothing but we only follow the rest of the world."
