Court Correspondent, DHAKA, Jan 17: A Dhaka court has ordered to send the detained three Inqilab journalists to jail.
Earlier, they were produced before the court on Friday afternoon.
The court also set Monday for hearing on the remand plea.
On Thursday night, a team of Detective Branch (DB) of Police shut down the printing press of Inqilab, seized several computers and many printing equipment and held four journalists.
The law enforcers arrested Deputy Chief Rafiq Mohammad, News Editor Rafiullah Robi, Diplomatic Correspondent Ahmed Atik and Senior Reporter Afzal Bari.
The raid was followed by a cased filled against the editor of the newspaper in ICT act on Thursday noon on charges of publishing a news item.
