A total of 402 people, who returned home from abroad recently, have been kept in home quarantine in last 24 hours in Satkhira district.
With this, a total of 1,562 overseas returnees remained in home quarantine in last nine days in the district.
Besides, one has remained in isolation unit of Satkhira Sadar Hospital.
District Civil Surgeon Dr Md Hussain Safayat confirmed the matter to risingbd on Wednesday (March 25).
Among the overseas returnees, 84 have been kept in home quarantine in Satkhira Sadar upazila, 129 in Kalaroa, 40 in Tala, 27 in Kaliganj, 31 in Shyamnagar, 49 in Ashashuni and 42 in Debhata, Dr Safayat said.
A total of 9,614 people returned home from overseas countries in last 22 days (from March 1 to 22) among of whom 8,052 have remained out of home quarantine, he said.
