595 cops to be conferred with IGP badges

A number of 595 policemen are going to receive the 'IGP’s Exemplary Good Services Badge' this year.
They are being conferred with the second highest award of Bangladesh Police in six special categories.
The award is given in recognition of performances with honesty and devotion, different good works in addition to that shine the image of the force.
Dr Mohammad Jabed Patwari, Inspector General of Police (IGP), will hand over the awards to the nominated police members on January 7, according to press release issued by Police Headquarters on Sunday.
