At least seven people were killed and 25 other injured as a wall of a building collapsed after a gas pipeline explosion at Patharghata in Chattogram.
The incident took place on Sunday morning.
Six the deceased were identified as Farzana, 32, her son Atikur Rahman, 10, Sadia Sultana, Prosanto, Nurul Islam and Ani Barua.
Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station, confirmed the news.
Some burned to death and some were killed due to the wall collapse. The number of death toll may be increase, he said.
At least 20 people were taken to Chattogram Medical Collage Hospital, were seven people were declared dead, sources said.
