914 policemen infected with coronavirus

A total of 60 police members have been found to be infected newly with coronavirus or COVID-19 while performing their duties, raising the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 914.

This was confirmed from police headquarters on Monday (May 4).

Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police Headquarters Md Sohel Rana said, "Police are being infected with coronavirus as they are closely working with general people after getting mixed with them. But there is nothing to be panicked. Police are ensuring treatment for those policemen infected with the virus."
