ACC files case against Shahed, 3 others

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against Regent Hospital Chairman Md Shahed and three others on charges of embezzling Tk 1.51 crore from NRB bank in name of his hospital as loan and laundering that amount later.

Assistant Director Md Sirajul Haque filed the case with its Integrated District Office-1 in Dhaka on Wednesday (July 22).

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to risingbd.

The case has been filed against Regent Hospital Chairman Md Shahed, its Managing Director Md Ibrahim Khalil, NRB Bank’s Vice President (SME Banking) Wahid-Bin Ahmed and former Principal Officer of corporate head office Md Sohanur Rahman.
