ACC grills ex-Biman MD

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) questioned its sacked Managing Director and CEO AM Mosaddik Ahmed over corruption and irregularities in recruiting cadet pilots.

The ACC investigation officer Saiful Islam started quizzing him at the anti-graft body's head office around 10:00am on Tuesday.

ACC officials said there is an allegation that the Biman officials appointed cadet pilots through irregularities and abusing their power and thus they amassed illegal wealth.

The ACC also issued a travel ban on ten Biman officials including sacked Managing director and CEO AM Mosaddique Ahmed.
