ACC summons engineer of public works dept

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) summoned three persons including an additional chief engineer of the Public Works Department on charge of accumulating illegal wealth.

A letter signed by ACC director Syed Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter on Thursday.

The accused are- Dr Moinul Islam, additional chief engineer of the Public Works Department, Minarul Chakladar, contactor of Padma Associates Engineers Limited and Former Chairman Abdul Hakim of Saharbil Union Parishad of Chakaria in Cox’s Bazar.

The watchdog asked them to appear before it on January 5.
