ACC summons wives of Samrat and Khaled, 2 others

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned wives of expelled Jubo League Dhaka south President Ismail Hossain Chowdhury Samrat and Organising Secretary Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan among four for interrogation.

Separate notices signed by deputy director Jahangir Alam were issued in this regard from ACC Headquarters on Decemer 2.

Of them, Khaled’s wife Suraiya Akter, his brother Masud Mahmud Bhuiyan and Khaled’s brother Hassan Mahmud Bhuiyan’s wife Monsura Yeasmin were asked to appear before the graft watchdog on January 12.

Samrat’s wife Sharmin Chowdhury was asked to appear before ACC on January 13.

They all were asked to bring with copies of national ID, passport and tax returns of three years.

Samrat and Khaled were arrested in anti-casino drives.
