ACC wants documents of Papul’s wife, daughter, sister-in-law

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has summoned to submit all documents of Laxmipur-2 MP Kazi Shahidul Islam Papul, his wife, daughter and sister-in-law over allegations of illegally acquiring assets and money laundering.

A letter signed by Deputy Director (Investigation) Salahuddin on Tuesday, has been sent to submit all personal documents including identity card, passport, TIN number, income tax return and others .

Papul, his wife and reserved women's seat MP Selina Islam, daughter Wafa Islam and Selina's sister Jasmine have to submit their documents.

ACC Director (Public Relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed this to risingbd on Wednesday.

According to ACC sources, the letter was sent to Selina Islam's residential address at Gulshan in the city and her permanent address in Laxmipur. The letter has asked to submit documents within 15 working days.
