AL works for people’s fate development: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also president of the ruling Awami League, said people’s fate changes when Awami League comes to power. It is only Awami League that gives the country’s people something. Awami League is only party in the country that works for people’s economic development.

The Premier came up with the statement after inaugurating the 21 national council of the party at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Friday evening.

She said Awami League was attacked again and again. Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was also harassed, sued in false case and awarded death sentence. Even those obstacles, he went forward with honesty, resulting Bangladesh to achieve freedom.
