ASI dies with corona-like symptoms in Chattogram

GM Kayum, 45, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Sadarghat Thana in Chattogram city, has died of coronavirus-like symptoms.
He died around 11.00am on Tuesday at Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police Abu Bakar Siddique confirmed the matter.
His samples were collected for corona tests, he also said.
The policeman hailed from Rajeshpur village under Parshuram upazila in Feni.
The dead body was sent to village home.
