Abrar was not allowed to drink water: Sadat

ASM Nazmus Sadat, an accused in the BUET student Abrar Fahad case said, Abrar was not allowed to drink water when he asked for water.

The accused said this while replying reporters at Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate court on Wednesday.

He said, “Senior brothers of 15 and 16 batches including Anik Sarker, Sakal, Mojahid and Monir beat Abrar most. They (the BCL men) did not allow Abrar to drink water when he (Abrar) asked for water and they did not allow him (Sadat) and others to take the victim to hospital for treatment,”

He also said, “Monir Bhai ordered us to bring Abrar from his room and then we brought him from his room. Around 12:30 am, I returned to my room.”
