Action against them who attacked Nur: Quader

Organisational and administrative actions will be taken against the persons who attacked DUCSU Vice President Nurul Haque Nur and his supporters.

Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference on development activities and current issues on Monday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given a clear instruction to take organisational and administrative actions against the persons who attacked Nur and his supporters, he said.

Awami League Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak yesterday visited the injured persons at Dhaka Medical College Hospital as per instruction of the prime minister and talked about their treatment, Quader said.

A legal action will be taken against those whoever were involved with the attack, he quoted the Prime Minister as saying.

Activists of a faction of Muktijuddho Moncho, mostly comprised of Chhatra League men, beat up and injured Ducsu Vice President Nurul Haque Nur and his supporters, storming into his office at the DUCSU building on Sunday.
