Akheri Munajat: GMP announces road, parking plans

Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) has issued a traffic and car parking management plan ahead of the Akheri Munajat of the first phase Biswa Ijtema.

The authorities have taken special measures ahead of the Biswa Ijtema to ease the traffic system.

GMP Commissioner Md Anwar Hossain said, innumerable Muslim devotees have joined the Ijtema. Besides, many people will start to move the venue to take part in the Akheri Munajat on Sunday. That’s why separate traffic systems have been launched there.

Vehicular movements towards Tongi will remain shut from 4:00am on Sunday for the smooth movements of devotees.

All inter-district vehicles including busses, trucks and covered vans of Mohakhali bus terminal for Abdullahpur will ply Bijoy Sarani-Gabtoli road taking the left turn from Mohakhali intersection. The routes will be resumed around 4:00pm after checking overall situations.
