All shops to remain closed after 7pm in Chattogram

In an attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country,   Chattogram police announced that all shops in the port city will remain closed after 7:00 pm from today (April 6).

Chattogram Police Commissioner Mahbubur Rahman came up with the announcement yesterday night.

Confirming the matter to risingbd, city’s Deputy Commissioner Abu Bakar Siddique said, "With an aim to contain the spread of coronavirus, the police commissioner announced that all shops and markets in the port city will remain closed from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am every day for the greater interest of the city dwellers until further notice."

He warned that legal action will be taken against those who will be found violating the instruction.
