Andrew Kishore’s death rumour sparked

A rumour has spread on social media that noted singer Andrew Kishore has passed away. However, he is battling against death.

Music director Farid Ahmed confirmed this to risingbd.

He said, ‘Legendary singer Andrew Kishore is still alive, but his health condition is very bad. He is currently unable to speak. I contacted to his family at this afternoon. They requested all to keep him in pray.’

Andrew Kishore returned home on the night of June 11 after long a 9-month treatment in Singapore. He flew for the country on September 9 last year. He has been suffering from kidney and hormone related complications. Besides, he is having cancer.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as musicians, media personalities, several organisations and expatriates have come forward with assistance for his expensive treatment.
