Andrew Kishore’s health condition worsens

Legendary singer Andrew Kishore is battling for his life.

He has been receiving treatment in his hometown Rajshahi.

Momin Biswas, disciple of Andrew Kishore, said, “The singer has been taken at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of his sister Shikha Biswas’s clinic.”

“His health condition has been deteriorating since yesterday (July 5). Today morning, his condition started deteriorating more. Later, he was taken at the ICU,” Momin Biswas said.

He said, “The noted singer Andrew Kishore is now battling for life at his sister’s clinic in Rajshahi. His physical condition is very critical. Even, he cannot speak to anybody.”

Andrew Kishore returned home on the night of June 11 after a 9-month long treatment in Singapore. He flew for the country on September 9 last year. He has been suffering from kidney and hormone-related issues. Besides, he is having cancer.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as musicians, media personalities, several organisations and expatriates have come forward with assistance for his expensive treatment.
