Another dies of dengue at DMCH

Senior Correspondent: A man died after he was diagnosed with dengue.

Amjad Mondal, 52, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Tuesday.

With his death, the death toll of dengue patients at DMCH rose to 16.

Confirming the news, Rashed Mondal, the elder brother of the deceased, said “Amjad was admitted at the hospital on Monday (August 5) after he was infected with dengue. He died at 6:00 am while undergoing treatment.”
