Asaduzzaman Mia made nat’l security cell CEO

Secretariat Correspondent: The Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Md Asaduzzaman Mia, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the proposed National Security Affairs Cell.

Contract and Foreign Recruitment branch of Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.

According to the notification, after completing one-month long contractual basis appointment, he was made CEO of the National Security Cell for next three years.

Asaduzzaman Mia joined police department as assistant police super on February 15, 1988. He was made DMP commissioner on January 7, 2015.
