Attack on VP Nur: GS of Muktijuddha Mancha held

Police on Monday held two leaders of Muktijuddha Mancha over the attack on Vice President (VP) of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Nurul Haque Nur and his supporters.

The arrestees were identified as Al Mamun, general secretary of a faction of Muktijuddha Mancha and Yeasir Arafat Turjo, general secretary of its Dhaka University unit.

Abdul Baten, additional commissioner (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed the news to media.
