Azad, Reaz elected DRU president, GS

Rafiqul Islam Azad and Reaz Chowdhury have been elected as the president and general secretary of the executive committee of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).

DRU election commission member Manzurul Ahsan Bulbul announced the names around 6:30pm on Saturday.

The voting started at 9:00am this morning at DRU premises in city’s Shegunbagicha area and continued till 5:00pm without any break.

Among 1635 voters 1329 voters exercised their franchise to elect new committee for the next year.
