Banani bus accident victim Rozina dies

Medical Correspondent: Rozina Akhter, the young woman who lost one of her legs in a bus accident at Banani in Dhaka, has died.

She died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) under treatment around 06:00am on Sunday.

Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost confirmed the matter.

On April 20, a BRTC bus hit Rozina Aktar, 21, in Chairmanbarhi footbridge area around 8:00pm when she was returning to her home at Niketon in Gulshan from one of her relative’s house in Mohakhali.

Earlier on April 3, a student of Government Titumir College in Dhaka, Rajib lost his right arm when a bus of Sajan Paribahan hit a BRTC double-decker bus parked at SAARC circle. Later, he died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 16.
