Bangabandhu’s birth centenary to be celebrated in 10 world cities

The birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be celebrated in 10 main cities of the world including London.

Information Secretary Abdul Malek said this while speaking at a programme in East London.

Bangladesh High Commission in London revealed the news in press release on Monday.
Abdul Malek said people of United Kingdom (UK) and Bangladesh origin people had an unparalleled role in the Liberation War. Bangabandhu flew to London directly after he got release from Pakistan jail.

He urged all, especially young generation to celebrate Bangabandhu’s birth centenary spontaneously.
