Bangladesh, Malaysia agree to resist human trafficking

Diplomatic Correspondent: Bangladesh and Malaysia on Sunday agreed that the two countries will work together to resist human trafficking.
The move came as the crime like human trafficking has been increased in recent couple of days.
The decision came at a meeting between Malaysia`s Foreign Minister and his visiting Bangladeshi counterpart A.H. Mahmood on Sunday.
The meeting was held in the city of Kota Kinabalu in Malaysian state of Sabah on Borneo Island.
Besides, the two countries also signed separate agreement to build relationships among them.
Malaysian state media reported that the meeting was also discussed the crisis involving the influx of boats carrying Bangladeshi migrants and Rohingya to Southeast Asian countries.
Malaysian foreign ministry officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
More than 1,000 migrants have washed ashore in Malaysia over the past week, with hundreds of others reaching Indonesia.
