Bangladesh beat Bhutan by 10 wickets

Bangladesh U-23 cricket team beat Bhutan by 10 wickets in their 2nd match of the 13th edition of the South Asian Games at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal on Friday.

Bangladesh bowlers kept Bhutan in a tight leash, bowling economically to restrict their opponents to 69 for 7 in the T20 match. Medium pacer Manik Khan grabbed two wickets for just 9 runs.

In reply, Bangladesh easily reached the target scoring 74 runs without losing any wicket in only 6.5 overs. Captain Soumya Sarkar scored  fifty.

Bangladesh U-23 are set to face Nepal and Sri Lanka U-23s on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Bangladesh started their South Asian Games cricket campaign off to a winning start, defeating Maldives by 109 runs in the first match.
