Bangladesh beat Pakistan by 1 wicket

Bangladesh women’s cricket team have shared trophy with Pakistan with a thrilling one-wicket victory in the two-match ODI series at Lahore in Pakistan.

Previously, Bangladesh women made a frustrating start in the ODI series losing the first match against host Pakistan. Even, they were whitewashed in the three-match T20 series. But, finally the Tigresses completed the ODI series magically today.  

Replying to Pakistan’s moderate total of 210 runs for all in 48.4 overs at Gaddafi Stadium, Tigresses scored 211 runs losing nine wickets with only one ball to spare.

Fargana Hoque took 67 runs facing 97 balls while, Murshida Khatun took 44 runs from 67 balls hitting six boundaries.

Bangladesh bowler Rumana Ahmed and Salma Khatun earlier bagged three and two wickets respectively.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan Women have won the toss and elected to bat first.

This was Bangladesh’s first win in Pakistan.
