Bangladesh clinch all 10 gold medals of archery

Bangladesh clinched gold medals in all ten events of archery at the 13th South Asian Games at Pokhara Stadium in Nepal.

Suma Bishwash, Md Sohel Rana, Ety Khatun and Roman Shana won gold medals for Bangladesh in archery competition on Monday.

Bangladeshi compound archer Suma clinched the day's first gold beating Anuradha Karunarante of Sri Lanka in the women’s compound singles final.

Another compound archer Sohel bagged the day's second gold for Bangladesh in men’s compound singles beating Tandin Dorji of Bhutan in the final.

Ety won the day's third gold in the women’s recurve event, beating an opponent from Bhutan.

Shana, who became the first Bangladeshi archer to qualify for the Olympic Games, clinched the fourth and last gold beating Kinley Tshering of Bhutan in the men’s recurve singles.

Bangladeshi archers brought glory for the country winning all six team gold medals on Sunday and the rest four team gold medals today.

In this season, Bangladesh won a total of 18 gold medals as of today.
