Bangladeshi dies from coronavirus in UK

A Bangladeshi died of coronavirus infection on Sunday at a hospital in UK's Manchester, the third death from the disease in the country.

The deceased, aged 60, returned to UK from Italy on February 29 after a visit. He had also been suffering from cholesterol, arthritis, cardiac complication, asthma and breathing complication.

He went for a regular check-up at a local health centre on March 3, when he was wearing a mask. Being asked why he was wearing the mask, he replied that he had recently been to Italy, and immediately he was placed in isolation and later a medical team from North Manchester General Hospital took him to the hospital and conducted tests on him, in which he was confirmed to be infected with the virus and placed on quarantine, his son said.
