Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Champions started mission in the season’s curtain raiser soccer meet with an aim to bag their maiden Fed Cup title.

After beating lowly Brothers Union Limited by 1-0 goal in the first group match, Kings suffered a shocking 0-2 goals defeat against Chattogram Abahani Ltd in the second match.

But Kings bounced back on the race eliminating Group D Champions Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 4-1 goals in the tie-breaker of the nail-biting 4th and last quarterfinal as the match was locked in 1-1 draw in the stipulated time. Both sides failed to extend their margin in the extra time.

The stats shows, Kings defeated lowly Rahmatganj in both home and away matches by 1-0 goal and 3-2 goals respectively.
