Beijing’s Covid-19 outbreak under ‘control’

The coronavirus crisis was stable in China’s Beijing. In this situation, a Chinese medical expert said that the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak in Beijing, has been brought under control.

Beijing reported 25 new infections in a single day while 32 persons were infected in the main land of China.

Wu Zunyou, the chief epidemiologist of China’s Center for Diseases Prevention and Control has said that the latest outbreak in Beijing was now under control, adding, that the new cases might emerge from time to time as the contract tracing and the testing was in progress.

However, he warned, “When I say that it’s under control, that doesn’t mean the number of cases will turn zero tomorrow or the day after.”
