Benazir Ahmed takes charge of IGP

Benazir Ahmed has taken his duty as the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
He is the 41st IGP of the Bangladesh Police Force.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and Senior Secretary Mostafa Kamal Uddin adorned the new IGP with the rank badge on Wednesday at Ganabhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also present.
