Biman reduces 74 flights in 10 routes

Biman Bangladesh Airlines reduced 74 flights in 10 routes due to passenger’s scarcity following global outbreak of novel coronavirus.

The authority of Biman Bangladesh Airlines confirmed the matter on Monday (March 09).

Tahera Khankar, chief of public relations wing of Biman Bangladesh Airline said, “Biman had run 142 flights per week. But, now 68 flights will remain go on as 74 flights declared shut.”

The ten routes are- Dubai, Kuwait, Dammam, Jeddah, Doha, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Mascot, Bangkok and Singapore.

Besides, there will be no flight to Doha till further notice as the Qatar government imposed ban on travelers.
