Biman’s former director, DGM arrested

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested Biman Bangladesh Airlines' former director Mohammad Ali Ahsan Babu (Sales and Marketing) and former deputy general manager (DGM) Iftekher Hossain Chowdhury.

The two former officials Biman were arrested on Tuesday noon. A team of ACC led by deputy director Nasir Uddin arrested them from the capital’s Segunbagicha area.

ACC public relations office confirmed the matter.

Earlier this morning, the watchdog filed a case against 16 officials of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
