Body found in DU Curzon Hall

Police recovered the hanging body of a man named Selim Hawladar from the Curzon Hall of Dhaka University (DU) in the capital on Wednesday.

Police said that Selim was found hanging with a white scarf around the neck tied up with a grill of window at the ground floor of the Faculty of Chemistry in the University. Later the body was sent to hospital for autopsy.

Dhaka University proctor Professor Golam Rabbani said, “We have got information that the deceased was an outsider. Police is investigating the issue.”
