Body recovered from Kamalapur hotel

The body of a man named Syed Ali, 57, has been recovered from a residential hotel in city’s Kamalapur.

Being informed, police recovered the body from the second floor of the hotel, Pentagon, around 7.00am on Wednesday.

Syed Ali was son of late Lal Mia at Salkakandi under Shibpur upazila in Narsingdi.

Syed Ali’s cousin Motiur Rahman said Syed Ali came to Dhaka for treatment. Getting no response in the morning, the hotel manager informed the police.

After recovering, Syed Ali was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
