Bogura-1, Jashore-6 by-polls on July 14

The Election Commission (EC) has decided to hold Bogura-1 and Jashore-6 by-elections on July 14.

The decision was taken in a meeting on Saturday afternoon.

EC senior secretary Md Alamgir told this to reporters. 

Earlier the by-polls of the constituencies were scheduled for March 29. But on March 21, the commission decided to postpone the election due to the coronavirus outbreak.
