Secretariat Correspondent: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the condition of highways are better. There will be no traffic jam during Eid journey.
The minister made the opinion while addressing a programme at conference room of his secretariat office in the capital on Monday.
He said, “Random cattle markets will not be allowed. We will remain strict. Dhaka City Corporation was also kept alert in this regard.”
Obaidul Quader also said, “Movements of truck, lorry and heavy vehicles will remain stopped for three days before and after the Eid. However, Transports of garment goods and fuel carriers will ply.”
We will provide BRTC bus to Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) like the previous Eid, he added.
