Budget likely to be passed today

The national budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2020-2021 is likely to be passed today (Tuesday) in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS).
Today’s parliament session began at 11.05am with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
On June 11, Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal announced a Tk 5,68,000 crore national budget for 2020-21 fiscal, which is 17.9 per cent of GDP.
