Bus-truck collision kills one in city

Medical Correspondent: A man was killed in a collision between a bus and truck at Matuail in the city early Monday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Quddus, 35, a helper of Shyamoli Baribahan bus.

According to sources, a bus of Shyamoli Baribahan collided head-on with a rod-laden truck around 4.30am, leaving Abdul Quddus seriously injured.

He was immediately taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.
