Cabinet hails women cricket team

Staff Correspondent: The Cabinet adopted a felicitation motion greeting the Bangladesh women cricket team its win in the ICC Women’s World T20 qualifiers title.

Briefing reporters after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary M Shafiul Alam said the Cabinet adopted the proposal at the beginning of its meeting on Monday.

Earlier, Bangladesh women’s cricket team retained the title of the Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers with a record-equaling 70-run win over Thailand in the final at Dundee in Scotland on Saturday.
